Beefly Space Limited is a private space company headquartered in Hong Kong Science Park (HKSTP), with an operation center planned in Malaysia. In collaboration with Shanghai Jiao Tong University, we are developing the innovative Beefly Constellation dedicated to equatorial regions. Leveraging Malaysia’s strategic equatorial location and the vast potential of the ASEAN market, our goal is to become a leading satellite service provider across the equatorial region.

Our core team brings over 30 years of experience in the space and IT industries across Europe, Canada, Singapore and China. The team’s achievements include developing China’s first IoT satellite (STU-2, 2015) and the world’s smallest lunar satellite (ICUBE-Q, 9kg, 2024), which successfully communicated over a distance of 380,000 km.

Established in Hong Kong, Beefly has the advantage of being close to the world class supply chain and the fast growing Chinese commercial space sector, as well as supports from partners in both the private sector and the governments.
